- 1 chicken cut into pieces
- 1 packet vermicelli
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- grated garlic to taste
- parsley, and cilantro
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp saffron
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- for decoration: icing sugar and cinnamon. optionally blanched and fried almonds.

Put water in the bottom of the couscoussier, and let it boil.
Oil the couscoussier and pour the vermicelli into it. Leave to cook.
In a pot, brown the chicken pieces in a little oil.
Add the onions, garlic, chopped herbs, spices, and salt.
Add a glass of water and cook over low heat.

put a layer of vermicelli on a plate, arrange the chicken and its sauce on top and cover with vermicelli. Make a decoration with cinnamon, icing sugar, and possibly almonds, and fries.
