1 chicken cut into pieces
1 packet vermicelli
2 onions, thinly sliced
grated garlic to taste
parsley, and cilantro
1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp white pepper
1 tsp saffron
1 tsp cinnamon
Salt
sugar
for decoration: icing sugar and cinnamon. optionally blanched and fried almonds.

Put water in the bottom of the couscoussier, and let it boil.

Oil the couscoussier and pour the vermicelli into it. Leave to cook.

In a pot, brown the chicken pieces in a little oil.

Add the onions, garlic, chopped herbs, spices, and salt.

Add a glass of water and cook over low heat.

Pour the vermicelli into a dish and separate them with a fork.

Add oil (2 cases) and incorporate well.

Put the vermicelli back in the couscoussier and cook for 20 minutes.

Then put the vermicelli in a hollow dish and pour water (the one that was in the bottom of the couscous) on the vermicelli. Drain the vermicelli well. Put in a dish add a good knob of butter, mix and add a few spoonfuls of sugar (according to taste).
